SELF-CATERING

RATES 2025

The self-catering camps can sleep up to 20 people comfortably.

ADULTS RATES:

$30 Per adult per night during the week (Monday - Thursday)

$50 Per adult per night over the weekend (Friday - Sunday)

CHILDREN RATES:

Children under 4 years = FREE

Children between 5 - 12 years = 50% of normal rates if they are sharing a room with parents

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS RATES:

Minimum of 6 Pax charged at $50 per adult per night

Children are charged according to normal rates.

CAMP 1:

3 Chalets

1 family room (1 King size bed & 2 single beds)

2 double rooms (2 single beds)

Ensuite bathroom

2 Tented Chalets

Can sleep 4 per tent with a shared ablution

CAMP 2: 

2 Tented Chalets

Can sleep 2 per room & ensuite bathroom

BOTH CAMPS:

Guests have access to a beautiful communal area with a kitchen, splash pool (only at Camp 1), braai/outdoor lounge area with a fire pit.

The kitchens are fully functional with a gas cooker/oven, fridges, and freezers.

There is pots, pans, utensils and cutlery.

There is a braai that can be moved to the outdoor area.

PLEASE NOTE:

Boat hire & transfers are excluded in cost

Camp 1 - minimum of 6 pax to book

Camp 2 - minimum of 4 pax to book

BOAT HIRE:

Fuel is charged separately

• If you go in the park = $260 per day

        Includes: 75L Fuel

        Excludes:  park fees

• Sundowner cruise around the Island = $65 (2 - 3 hours)

        Includes:  5L Fuel

• Half day hire close to the Island = $120

        Includes:  10L Fuel

• Full day hire = $175

        Includes:  20L Fuel

BOAT TRANSFERS:

If you don't have a boat to come across to the Island, we also do transfers.

The cost is all dependent on where you would park your vehicle.

Transfers are done from the following locations:

Gwabi - $145 per trip

Kiambi - $120 per trip

Woods Camp - $50 per trip

If you have a 4x4 and can manage to get to Mukuyu we charge $30 per trip.

The road to Mukuyu can be quite sandy or muddy so 4x4 is definitely needed.

Parking fees is excluded.
