Ilombe Island Lodge is located 95km West of Livingstone, Zambia and 4km North of Kasane, Botswana at the far eastern point of the Caprivi Strip.  The island lies on the Zambezi River border with Namibia.

RATES 2025

High Season:  March - September

Low Season: October & November (Deal - Stay 4 nights & pay for 3 nights)

No Fishing from December - February

$310   $930 per person per night

Transfer from and to Livingstone Airport / Falls border $70   $70 (minimum 2 Pax)

Transfer from and to Kazangula border Zambia $35   $35 (minimum 2 Pax)

Includes:

Accommodation, all meals, Coffee/Tea, laundry service, Boat, 25L fuel per day, River guide, Mineral water and Ice.

Excludes: Bar Account/Corkage, Gratuities, Items of personal nature, Fishing tackle/equipment (hire available)

Self-Drive:

Secure parking available in Kasane or Mambova - please arrange prior to travel.

FISHING IS STRICTLY CATCH & RELEASE - NO EXCEPTIONS

Facilities:

• National Grid Power / Generator backup - 220V - (max 5 amps).  Plug adapter in rooms for chargers, laptops, cameras etc.
• Insect Repellent and Aerosol in tents
• Fishing Equipment:  Conventional rods & reels for hire.  Basic tackle requirements for sale.  Moderate supply of flies available.
• Guided bird walks, guided fishing walks
• Swimming pool
• Cell phone coverage
• Limited Wi-fi available
• External activities, tours can be arranged.  Visa conditions may apply for activities/tours in Botswana, Zimbabwe or Namibia and non-SADC passport holders should opt for a multi-entry visa when first arriving in Zambia.

Health & Safety:

• Ilombe Island is located in a malaria area.  You are advised to either take prophylactics or bring along some insect repellent of your choice.  We do supply repellent free of charge.
• A high factor sun block is recommended as well as suitable head gear and sunglasses.
• Some evenings/early mornings can be quite cold - suitable cover is recommended.
